About Namika Mahmoodi, LCPC
Rehabilitation Specialist for Minors and Psychotherapist. Namika Zaman Mahmoodi earned her Masters and Post‑Masters in Clinical Psychology at Johns Hopkins University and is licensed as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Namika has served as a licensed therapist in two clinical organizations across Baltimore City and County, providing individual and group therapy to adults and minors facing addiction, mental health, and anxiety challenges. She also worked over four years with the Baltimore Alliance for Careers in Healthcare, offering career readiness and support to immigrants and city residents seeking apprenticeships and employment in healthcare. Her experience also includes internships at both a Baltimore County middle school and high school.
Currently, Namika is a community therapist at Created for Greater, providing individual and group therapy for adults and minors. She specializes in addictions and centers empathy and unconditional positive regard in every session.
